Biography

Maggie Voelker coaches clients who are passionate about living principle-centered lives. She helps them discover, accomplish, and celebrate meaningful goals. Her style embraces transparency, empathy, discernment, encouragement and joy. When clients commit to coaching with Maggie, they experience greater inner peace, more satisfying relationships, and improved productivity.

Maggie’s remarkable journey with ‘The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People’ began in 1989. Highlights of her journey include serving as: first In-House Seven Habits Facilitator for a Canadian regional school system (1995-1996); informal Seven Habits Facilitator during her tenure as an Employment Facilitator for immigrant women new to Canada (1996-1998); FranklinCovey Leadership Coach with the FranklinCovey Coaching Company, UT (1999-2003); and Seven Habits Coach with Bias4Action (2008). Her mission is to ‘live a life of love’. Her motto is to ‘love wisely, live lightly, and serve joyfully’.

Maggie’s celebrating more than 10 years of coaching as her calling. She respectfully practices the ethics and competencies required as a: Professional Certified Coach (PCC 2007, International Coach Federation); Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF 1998, Center for Credentialing and Education); Certified FranklinCovey Coach (CFCC 1999-2003, FranklinCovey Coaching LLC) and Seven Habits In-House Facilitator (1995, Covey Leadership Center). During her years in Canada, she earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario, Canada; and Career Development Practitioner and Teacher/Trainer of Adults Certificates (both with Honors) from Conestoga College, Canada. Additional work experiences include: teaching at a Canadian university as well as at a Canadian college; managing the successful expansion of a Canadian company founded in 1860; and owning an interior design business.

Maggie lives in Charleston SC. She’s deeply grateful for: her wonderful son and daughter; precious Canadian family; and many, great American cousins. Maggie’s looking forward to being your coach!
